Summer 1994: Buried trenches containing mixed waste. This included soil gas and soil core samples using ATV and Truck-Mounted probes. Soil gas samples were analyzed on-site in Vista’s Mobile Laboratory for selected Volatile Organic Compounds by SW846 methods 8010/8020.

Oct. 1997: 3 weeks soil and ground water sampling. Sampling occurred in the PA area, including the site identified as IHSS 118.1. Collected not only soil and ground water, but also DNAPL carbon tetrachloride.

Jan-Feb 1998: 3 weeks sampling at various places, including PA area. In the vicinity of Buildings 707, 708, and 709; Solar Pond; Buildings 990 and 991; the Walnut Creek Drainage; and the B1 Pond.

Apr-May 1998: 4 weeks sampling soil at Building 440 TRU/TRM. Soil sampling around building and under concrete.

Jun-Jul 1998: 7 weeks sampling soil at Building 123. Sampled around the building prior to demolition; sampled under concrete pad after demolition of building and before destruction of pad.

June 1999: 1 day sampling at 10th Street and Building 984.
